Snowfall with total amounts of 25 to 35 cm is expected. Heavy snowfall is expected for much of southern Saskatchewan Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday. A low pressure system will produce an area of heavy snow stretching from Meadow Lake southeastward to Estevan. Total snowfall accumulations are likely to be in the 25 to 35 cm range by Thursday morning. The snow will taper off through the night on Wednesday. Travel will likely be hazardous. Visibility will likely be reduced at times. Road closures are possible. Utility outages are likely. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Non-essential travel should be avoided. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant impacts are expected due to snowfall accumulations.
