Weather Alerts for: R.M. of Frenchman Butte including St. Walburg
Yellow Warnings
Yellow Warning - Rainfall
Impact Level: Moderate
Forecast Confidence: High
Heavy rainfall with total amounts of 15 to 25 mm is expected. Rain will begin overnight on Tuesday and change over to snow Wednesday evening. With the ground still frozen over most of the area, localized flooding is more likely to occur as the ground has a reduced ability to absorb falling rain. Snow is then expected to persist over this area until Saturday afternoon with total snowfall accumulations of 10 to 20 cm likely. Additional snowfall warnings may be issued at a later date. Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Avoid low-lying areas. Watch for washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to SKstorm@ec.gc.ca, call 1-800-239-0484 or post reports on X using #SKStorm.
