Special Weather Statement in effect for:

  • Blanc-Sablon

Rain and snow from Sunday to Tuesday. A major low pressure system will give significant precipitation amounts over Eastern Quebec from Sunday morning to Tuesday morning. Precipitation will begin as rain before changing to snow on Monday over most regions. Total rainfall amounts could reach 50 mm in 24 hours. Additionally, strong southerly winds are possible over the tip of the Gaspé Peninsula and the Lower North Shore on Monday. A storm surge could affect coastal localities exposed to these winds. Adjust your travel plans to take hazardous weather conditions into account. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
