Flurries at times heavy and possible snow squalls are expected to develop this evening. Total snowfall: 10 to 15 cm in heaviest flurries, especially if snow squalls develop. Maximum wind gusts: 70 km/h. Time span: beginning this evening, ending Friday morning or early Friday afternoon. Remarks: Flurries may organize into snow squalls and with strong westerly winds and falling temperatures. Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Prepare for the possibility of quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Snow squall watches are issued when localized, intense snowfall causing rapid accumulation and/or reduced visibility is possible.
