Weather Alerts for: M.D. of Lesser Slave River near Marten Beach

Yellow Warnings

Yellow Warning - Rainfall

Impact Level: Moderate

Forecast Confidence: High

Rain with total amounts of 25 to 30 mm continues. Localized amounts as high as 50 mm are possible. Rain will continue to spread though the region tonight. Near the Saskatchewan border, rain will transition to snow tonight. Closer to BC, rain will continue until late Friday. Due to recent and continued melt of the significantly above normal winter snowpack and recent overland flooding conditions, the ground likely has a reduced ability to absorb rainfall. Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Don't drive through flooded roadways. Allow extra time for travel. Watch for washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to ABstorm@ec.gc.ca, call 1-800-239-0484 or post reports on X using #ABStorm.
