Heavy snow with total amounts of 10 to 20cm is forecast by Wednesday evening. A heavy band of snow will develop Wednesday morning, stretching from northwestern Alberta into central Alberta. Snow will fall heavy at times, with rapid accumulation expected. Snow will begin to taper off from northwest to southeast Wednesday afternoon, with heavy snow ending in the Edmonton area Wednesday evening. Roads and walkways may be very difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
