at 4:00 a.m. PDT Saturday 16 October 2021 for today tonight and
Sunday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 4:00 p.m. PDT.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

West Coast Vancouver Island North
Queen Charlotte Sound.
Seas 2 to 3 metres.

West Coast Vancouver Island South.
Seas 3 to 4 metres subsiding to 2 to 3 near noon becoming 3 Sunday
afternoon.

Central Coast from McInnes Island to Pine Island.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 Sunday morning.

Hecate Strait - northern half.
Seas 1 metre or less.

Hecate Strait - southern half.
Seas 1 metre.

Dixon Entrance East.
Seas 1 metre.

Dixon Entrance West - west of Langara
West Coast Haida Gwaii.
Seas 2 metres building to 3 late this evening then subsiding to 2
Sunday morning.

Dixon Entrance West - east of Langara.
Seas 1 to 2 metres.

Bowie - northern half.
Seas 2 to 3 metres.

Bowie - southern half.
Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 4 early this afternoon then
subsiding to 2 to 3 Sunday morning.

Explorer - northwestern half.
Seas 2 to 3 metres building to 3 to 4 early this evening then
subsiding to 2 to 3 Sunday afternoon.

Explorer - southeastern half.
Seas 3 metres subsiding to 2 early this evening then building to 3
overnight.
