Wave height forecasts for the Maritimes issued by Environment Canada
at 5:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday 2 July 2025 for today tonight and
Thursday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 5:00 p.m. ADT.

Forecast values are combined wind wave and swell heights. Highest
waves may be more than twice forecast values. Wave heights may vary
considerably due to shoreline and depth effects.

Fundy
Grand Manan.
Seas 1 metre or less.

Lurcher.
Seas 1 metre.

Southwestern Shore

Eastern Shore
Sable
Fourchu
Banquereau - northern half.
Seas 1 to 2 metres.

Georges Bank - northern half
West Scotian Slope - northern half.
Seas 1 metre building to 2 near noon.

Georges Bank - southern half
West Scotian Slope - southern half.
Seas 1 metre building to 2 near noon and to 3 Thursday morning.

East Scotian Slope.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 Thursday afternoon.

Banquereau - southern half
Laurentian Fan.
Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 2 to 3 Thursday evening.

Cabot Strait.
Seas 1 to 2 metres subsiding to 1 or less late this evening.

Gulf - Magdalen - eastern half
Anticosti - eastern half.
Seas 1 to 2 metres subsiding to 1 or less late this afternoon.

Gulf - Magdalen - western half
Anticosti - western half.
Seas 1 metre or less.

  • Add to shortcuts

    • Select the link to rename
    • Click on the "Rename" button and change the link name
    • Click the enter or tab key
    • Click on the "Close" button to save the change
  • Keyboard navigation
    • Use the Tab key to move to a button or link
    • Use the Enter key to click on buttons or links
    • Organize shortcuts navigation
      • Use the ↑ Up key to select the link above. If none are selected, it will select the first link.
      • Use the ↓ Down key to select the link below. If none are selected, it will select the last link.
      • Use the Page Up key to move a selection up in the list.
      • Use the Page Down key to move a selection down in the list.
  • Restore default list

    Warning: Clicking on the button below will remove all your customized links.
