3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday 30 April 2025 for today tonight and Thursday.
The next scheduled forecast will be issued at 10:00 a.m. ADT.

Fog implies visibility less than 1 mile.

Note..The strong wind warning program is active from April 15 to
 November 15.

Fundy
Grand Manan.
Strong wind warning in effect.
Wind southwest 20 knots increasing to southwest 30 early this morning
 then veering to northwest 25 this afternoon. Wind diminishing to
 northwest 15 Thursday morning and to light near noon Thursday. Wind
 becoming southwest 15 Thursday afternoon. Showers ending this
 morning with a risk of thunderstorms.

Lurcher.
Strong wind warning in effect.
Wind southwest 30 knots veering to northwest 25 to 30 this afternoon
 then diminishing to north 15 overnight. Wind backing to westerly 10
 to 15 near noon Thursday.

Browns Bank.
Wind southwest 30 knots veering to northwest 25 to 30 this afternoon
 then diminishing to north 15 overnight. Wind backing to westerly 10
 to 15 near noon Thursday.

Georges Bank
West Scotian Slope.
Wind southwest 20 knots increasing to southwest 30 this morning then
 veering to northwest 25 this afternoon. Wind diminishing to
 northwest 15 overnight and to light Thursday evening. Showers this
 afternoon and this evening.

Southwestern Shore
Eastern Shore - western half.
Strong wind warning in effect.
Wind southwest 20 knots increasing to southwest 30 this morning then
 veering to northwest 25 this afternoon. Wind diminishing to
 northwest 15 overnight then backing to southwesterly 15 Thursday
 afternoon. Fog patches dissipating this afternoon.

Wind southwest 20 knots increasing to southwest 30 this morning then
 veering to northwest 25 this afternoon. Wind diminishing to
 northwest 15 overnight then backing to southwesterly 15 Thursday
 afternoon. Fog patches dissipating this afternoon.

Eastern Shore - eastern half

Strong wind warning in effect.
Wind southwest 25 knots veering to northwest 30 this evening then
 diminishing to northwest 20 Thursday evening. Fog patches
 dissipating this evening.

Sable - eastern half.
Wind southwest 25 knots veering to northwest 30 this evening then
 diminishing to northwest 20 Thursday evening. Fog patches
 dissipating this evening.

East Scotian Slope.
Wind southwest 15 knots increasing to southwest 30 this morning then
 veering to west 25 this evening. Wind diminishing to northwest 15
 overnight. Wind northwest 15 Thursday. Showers and fog patches this
 afternoon and this evening.

Banquereau.
Gale warning in effect.
Wind light increasing to south 15 knots this morning and to south 25
 this afternoon. Wind diminishing to northwest 20 this evening then
 increasing to west 30 overnight. Wind increasing to northwest 40
 Thursday morning. Showers and fog patches this afternoon and this
 evening.

Laurentian Fan - southwestern half.
Wind light increasing to southwest 20 knots early this morning and to
 southwest 30 this afternoon. Wind diminishing to northwest 15 near
 midnight then increasing to northwest 25 Thursday morning. Showers
 and fog patches this afternoon and this evening.

Laurentian Fan - northeastern half.
Gale warning in effect.
Wind light increasing to south 15 knots this morning and to south 25
 this afternoon. Wind diminishing to northwest 20 this evening then
 increasing to northwest 35 Thursday morning. Showers and fog patches
 this afternoon and tonight.

Cabot Strait.
Gale warning in effect.
Wind south 30 knots veering to west 25 this afternoon then increasing
 to northwest 40 this evening. Wind increasing to northwest 45
 Thursday morning then diminishing to northwest 35 Thursday
 afternoon. Wind diminishing to northwest 30 Thursday evening.
 Showers today and this evening. Periods of snow overnight and
 Thursday morning. Visibility as low as 1 mile in snow.

Northumberland Strait.
Strong wind warning in effect.
Wind south 30 knots becoming northwest 25 to 30 near noon then
 diminishing to northwest 15 Thursday morning. Wind diminishing to
 light Thursday afternoon. Showers ending near noon.

Gulf - Magdalen - northeastern half.
Storm warning in effect.
Wind south 30 to 35 knots veering to west 35 this afternoon then
 increasing to northwest 45 to 50 this evening. Wind diminishing to
 northwest 35 Thursday morning and to northwest 25 Thursday
 afternoon. Showers changing to flurries this evening and ending
 Thursday morning. Visibility as low as 1 mile in flurries.

Gulf - Magdalen - southwestern half.
Gale warning in effect.
Wind south 30 knots increasing to west 35 this afternoon then veering
 to northwest 30 to 35 this evening. Wind diminishing to northwest 20
 near noon Thursday and to northwest 10 to 15 Thursday evening.
 Showers ending this afternoon.

Chaleur - Miscou - eastern half.
Gale warning in effect.
Wind south 25 to 30 knots increasing to west 35 near noon then
 diminishing to northwest 30 this evening. Wind diminishing to
 northwest 15 Thursday morning and to light Thursday afternoon.
 Showers ending near noon.

Chaleur - Miscou - western half.
Gale warning in effect.
Wind south 15 knots increasing to west 35 this morning then
 diminishing to northwest 25 near midnight. Wind diminishing to
 northwest 15 Thursday morning and to light Thursday afternoon.
 Showers ending near noon.

Anticosti - southwestern half.
Storm warning in effect.
Wind south 25 to 30 knots increasing to northwest 50 near noon with
 gusts to 60 in the Honguedo Strait. Wind diminishing to northwest 40
 this evening with gusts to 50 in the Honguedo Strait. Wind
 diminishing to northwest 30 Thursday morning and to northwest 15
 Thursday evening. Periods of rain changing to flurries this
 afternoon and ending near midnight. Visibility as low as 1 mile in
 flurries.

Anticosti - northeastern half.
Gale warning in effect.
Wind south 30 to 35 knots diminishing to variable 15 this afternoon
 then increasing to northwest 40 this evening. Wind diminishing to
 northwest 30 Thursday morning. Periods of rain changing to periods
 of snow this evening and ending overnight. Visibility 1 mile or less
 in snow.
