Ice forecasts for the Western and Central Arctic issued by
Environment Canada at 10:00 A.M. EDT Tuesday 1 July 2025 for today
tonight and Wednesday.
The next scheduled forecasts will be issued at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday.

Ice edge is outside the forecast region. 

Yukon Coast.
2 tenths first-year ice. Consolidated rotten first-year ice along
parts of the Yukon coast. 

Mackenzie.
Special ice warning in effect.
4 tenths first-year ice including a trace of old ice except 9 plus
tenths first-year ice including 4 tenths old ice in the northern
section. 
Unusual presence of old ice in the northern section today and
continuing Wednesday.

Tuktoyaktuk - northern half.
Special ice warning in effect.
4 tenths first-year ice including a trace of old ice except 9 tenths
first-year ice including 3 tenths old ice in the northwestern
section. 
Unusual presence of old ice in the northwestern section today and
continuing Wednesday.

Tuktoyaktuk - southern half.
1 tenth first-year ice except 4 tenths first-year ice in the western
section. 

Baillie.
3 tenths first-year ice except 7 tenths first-year ice in the
northeastern section. Consolidated rotten first-year ice along parts
of the Cape Parry coast. 

Amundsen.
3 tenths first-year ice except 9 tenths first-year ice in the
northeastern section and along parts of the Cape Parry coast.
Consolidated rotten first-year ice along parts of the Cape Parry
coast. 

Coronation.
6 tenths first-year ice.

      • Use the ↑ Up key to select the link above. If none are selected, it will select the first link.
      • Use the ↓ Down key to select the link below. If none are selected, it will select the last link.
      • Use the Page Up key to move a selection up in the list.
      • Use the Page Down key to move a selection down in the list.
  • Restore default list
