Island.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight quasi-stationary low 1000 mb located east
of Cape Breton Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:48 AM ADT 15 May 2026 A low pressure system west of Sable Island will track northeastward
today to lie east of Cape Breton Island by this evening. Strong to
gale force easterly winds north of the low shift to strong to gale
force southerlies to its south.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian
Slope - southwestern half, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot
Strait and Gulf-Magdalen - southeastern half.
