At 3:30 p.m. ADT today ridge located from Georges Bank to New
Brunswick.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday ridge located south of the Marine
District.
At 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday low 1003 mb located over the Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday low 1000 mb located over the Gaspe
Peninsula.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:17 PM ADT 18 April 2025 A ridge of high pressure approaching from the west will move to lieover the southern marine district Saturday. Meanwhile a trough of low
pressure will move to lie over the Gaspé Peninsula by Saturday
evening. Strong to gale force southwesterlies will develop across the
district Saturday in between these two features.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Browns Bank, Georges Bank, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern
shore - eastern half, Sable, East Scotian Slope and Fourchu.
