Issued 10:00 AM AST 7 February 2026 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. AST today departing low 963 mb located over the
southeastern Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. AST today deepening low 993 mb located south of
Georges Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Sunday low 970 mb located south of East Scotian
Slope.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:41 AM AST 7 February 2026 A low pressure system will develop southwest of Georges Bank today
and track south of the marine district tonight and Sunday. Strong to
gale force northeasterlies will develop over southern waters tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope and Laurentian
Fan.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, southwest shore, LaHave Bank,
eastern shore, Fourchu, Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, and Anticosti.
