the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
At 3:30 p.m. ADT today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday trough located from Maine to the Quebec
Lower North Shore.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:21 PM ADT 23 April 2024 A trough of low pressure will approach the marine district from thesouth today and will lie over East Scotian Slope tonight. The trough
will move northward to lie from Cabot Strait to Laurentian Fan
Wednesday evening. Strong easterlies over southeastern waters ahead
of the trough will veer to strong to gale force southerlies on
Wednesday as the trough moves northward.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan - eastern half.
