Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:25 PM ADT 3 April 2020 A low pressure system southwest of Georges Bank will continue to
drift southwestward then southward away from the district throughout
the forecast period. Gale to near storm force northeasterlies over
southern waters and strong to gale force northeasterlies over
northern regions will gradually diminish tonight and Saturday as the
low tracks further away from the district and a ridge pushes down
from the north.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Cabot Strait - northern half, Northumberland Strait,
Chaleur-Miscou, and Anticosti - northwestern half.
