Newfoundland.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Friday low 980 mb located northeast of Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:58 PM NST 12 February 2026 A low pressure system over Northeastern Newfoundland will track
across Belle Isle Bank on Friday. Strong to gale force northeasterly
to southeasterly winds can be expected ahead of the low, with strong
to gale force northwesterlies to southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northeast Gulf, Northeast Coast, and Southeastern Grand
Banks.
