Issued 10:00 AM NDT 31 March 2020 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the East Coast of Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday weakening trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the West Coast of Newfoundland.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located over northern
Labrador Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:50 AM NDT 31 March 2020 A trough of low pressure over the East Coast will move slowly
westward to lie northeast to southwest over Western Newfoundland
overnight and weaken. Strong to gale force north to northeasterlies
are forecast west of this feature today and tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port and
Northeast Coast - north of Cape St. John.
