Marine District.

By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday trough from 998 mb low located on a line
northeast-southwest over the northern Grand Banks.

By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday approaching ridge located over Labrador
Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:19 PM NDT 13 October 2019 At 12:30 PM NDT, tropical storm Melissa was located near 39.8 north
and 60.9 west with a pressure of 1001 MB and maximum sustained winds
of 40 knots. Melissa will continue moving eastward tonight while
gradually weakening, tracking south of the Grand Banks on Monday.
Melissa is not expected to have any impact on Newfoundland waters.
