Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:51 AM NDT 19 July 2026 A low pressure system over the Gaspé Peninsula will deepen slightlyas it tracks slowly eastwards to lie near Anticosti Island by this
evening. Strong to gale force south to southeasterlies are expected
to spread over the district ahead of the low today. On Monday winds
will shift to strong to gale force southwesterlies over western
waters.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, and Southwest Coast.
