Issued 3:30 PM NDT 10 September 2026 Tonight and Friday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the southeastern Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight departing ridge located southeast of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough located over the Maritimes.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Friday departing trough located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT Friday approaching trough located over the Quebec
Lower North Shore.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:22 PM NDT 10 September 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Maritimes will cross Newfoundland
tonight and move to lie east of the Grand Banks Friday afternoon.
A second trough will approach the district from the northwest Friday
evening.

Strong to gale force southerlies ahead of the first trough will veer
to strong southwesterlies in its wake. Strong to gale force
westerlies will develop ahead of the second trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle and Belle Isle Bank.
