Issued 8:00 PM NDT 7 May 2025 Tonight and Thursday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary high located southeast
of the Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located from the Gaspe Peninsula
to the Great Northern Peninsula.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Thursday trough located from the Northeast Coast
of Newfoundland to Prince Edward Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:48 PM NDT 7 May 2025 A trough of low pressure stretching from the Northern Peninsula to
Gaspé Bay peninsula will move slowly southeastward tonight. Strong
southwesterlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong to gale
force northeasterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, and Gulf-Port au Port -
northwestern half.
