Issued 10:00 AM NDT 18 September 2019 Today Tonight and Thursday At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line east-west over
the northern Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday trough located southeast of the Grand
Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Thursday ridge located on a line east-west over
the southern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:04 AM NDT 18 September 2019 A trough of low pressure over the Northern Grand Banks will drift
very slowly southeastward to lie southeast of the Grand Banks
tonight. Strong to gale force northerlies are forecast behind the
trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Northeast Coast.

At 9:30 AM NDT hurricane Humberto was located near latitude 31.8
north and longitude 68.9 west or about 240 nautical miles west of
Bermuda. Humberto has a central pressure of 951 MB and maximum
sustained winds of 100 knots. Humberto is moving east-northeast at 14
knots. The latest forecast track now has Humberto tracking across the
southern edge or the Southern Grand Banks on Saturday as a
post-tropical storm.
