Labrador Sea.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Sunday quasi-stationary low 979 mb located north
of Labrador Sea.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Sunday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:25 PM NST 7 December 2024 A low pressure system over the Labrador Sea will track northward to
lie just north of the Labrador Sea by this evening and then remain
nearly stationary through Sunday while gradually weakening. Strong to
gale force west to southwesterlies over northern waters will slowly
diminish as the low weakens.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle and Belle Isle Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, and Belle Isle Bank.
