By 10:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday departing ridge located south of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough located over Labrador Sea.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday departing trough located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:27 PM NDT 18 June 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Labrador Sea will move to lie east
of Belle Isle Bank overnight. Meanwhile a ridge of high pressure over
the Grand Banks will move to lie south of the Grand Banks overnight.
Gale force southwesterlies through the Strait of Belle Isle will
diminish this evening as these features move away.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle.
