over Prince Edward Island.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over northeastern Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
the Avalon Peninsula.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Thursday departing ridge located east of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:58 AM NDT 9 October 2024 A trough of low pressure will approach the marine district from the
west this morning. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will spread
over all waters ahead of the trough as it crosses the marine
district.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port, Southwest Coast, Belle Isle Bank - northeastern
half, and Funk Island Bank.
