Issued 8:00 PM NST 8 March 2021 Tonight and Tuesday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight trough located over eastern Belle Isle
Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Tuesday departing trough located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 995 mb located south of
the Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Tuesday departing low 970 mb located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located on a line east-west over
Newfoundland.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Tuesday weakening ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Strait of Belle Isle.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:47 PM NST 8 March 2021 A deepening low pressure system south of Southwestern Grand Banks
will track northeastward to lie east of the Grand Banks Tuesday
afternoon. Strong to gale force northeasterly winds ahead of the low
will shift to gale to storm force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Southeastern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect for Northern
Grand Banks and Southwestern Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Belle Isle Bank.
