Issued 3:30 PM NST 10 December 2019 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. NST today deepening low 983 mb located over centralLabrador Coast.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday low 965 mb located over eastern
Labrador Sea.
At 3:30 p.m. NST today trough from low located west of the Gaspe
Peninsula.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday trough from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Avalon Peninsula.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:18 PM NST 10 December 2019 A low pressure system over the Central Labrador coast will moveslowly eastward tonight and deepen. Gale to storm force south to
southwesterlies will persist tonight.
A trough extending southwest from the low will cross Newfoundland
Wednesday morning to lie over the Grand Banks Wednesday evening.
Winds will shift to strong to gale force west to northwesterlies
behind this trough.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, Belle Isle Bank, Funk
Island Bank, and Northern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect
for all remaining waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port,
Northeast Coast, and Belle Isle Bank.
