By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight dissipating low 993 mb located over
western Newfoundland.
At 3:00 a.m. NST today intensifying low 1000 mb located southwest
of Laurentian Fan.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Saturday low 981 mb located over the Northeast
Coast of Newfoundland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:17 AM NST 14 November 2025 A low pressure system over Southern Newfoundland will driftnorthwestward today before dissipating over Western Newfoundland this
evening. Strong to gale force southeast to northeasterlies can be
expected ahead of the low, with strong to gale force southwesterlies
in its wake.
A second low will approach from the south this afternoon and move to
lie over Northeastern Newfoundland tonight. Gale force
southeasterlies will spread across southern and eastern waters ahead
of the low on Friday. Winds will shift to gale to storm force
westerlies as it passes.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Southwestern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect for all
remaining waters except Southwest Coast.
