Issued 3:30 PM NDT 10 April 2020 Tonight and Saturday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 968 mb located near Prince Edward Island.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Saturday low 981 mb located over the northeastern
Gulf of St. Lawrence.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today trough located on a line east-west over
southern Newfoundland.
By 10:00 a.m. NDT Saturday trough located north of the Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:23 PM NDT 10 April 2020 A low pressure center near Prince Edward Island will slowly track
northeastward to lie over the Gulf of St. Lawrence by this evening
where it will remain nearly stationary and dissipate. An associated
trough over the South Coast of Newfoundland will sweep across the
marine district tonight. Gale to storm force easterly winds today
ahead of the trough shift to strong to gale force south to
southwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Gulf waters, South Coast, Northeast Coast, and Southwestern Grand
Banks. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.
