Issued 10:00 AM NST 29 February 2024 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:00 a.m. NST today trough located on a line north-south over
Anticosti Island.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Friday trough located east of the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:55 AM NST 29 February 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Gulf of St. Lawrence will sweep
across the marine district today and tonight. Strong to gale force
southerlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong to gale force
westerlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water except Southeastern Grand
Banks.
