western Newfoundland.
At 3:30 p.m. NST today low 977 mb located over the southwestern
Grand Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Saturday low 986 mb located over the Quebec Lower
North Shore.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:22 PM NST 14 November 2025 A low pressure system over Western Newfoundland will dissipate thisevening. Strong to gale force southeast to northeasterlies over
western and northern waters will briefly diminish this evening as the
low dissipates.
A second intense low over the Southwestern Grand Banks will cross
Newfoundland tonight and Saturday morning to lie over the Quebec
Lower North Shore by Saturday afternoon. Gale to storm force east to
southeasterlies can be expected ahead of the low, with gale to storm
force westerlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Coast and Southwestern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in effect
for all remaining waters.
