Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:23 PM NST 30 November 2022 A low pressure system located southeast of Greenland will depart to
the east this evening. Gale force northwesterlies over Belle Isle
Bank will diminish as the low departs.
A trough of low pressure will approach from the west tonight and
track eastward across Newfoundland to lie over Eastern Newfoundland
by the end of the forecast period. Gale to storm force
southeasterlies will spread across all waters ahead of the trough on
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Gulf waters, Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, and Northeast
Coast. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Northeast Coast and Belle Isle Bank.
