Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:21 PM NST 10 February 2025 An intense low pressure system east of Funk Island Bank will tracknorthward to lie over the East Labrador Sea by Tuesday afternoon.
Generally, strong to gale force west to northwesterlies are expected
throughout the forecast period. Over eastern waters, storm to
hurricane force winds will diminish to gale to storm force tonight
and further diminish to strong to gale force by Tuesday evening.
Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks. A storm
warning is in effect for Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are in effect
for all remaining waters except Strait of Belle Isle - western half
and Gulf waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Southeastern Grand Banks.
