Labrador Sea.
At 10:00 a.m. NDT Friday approaching low 998 mb located south of
Nova Scotia.
At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
Nova Scotia.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Friday departing ridge located over the Grand
Banks.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:45 AM NDT 14 May 2026 A departing low pressure system over Belle Isle Bank will tracknortheastward to lie south of East Labrador Sea this morning.
Strong to gale force westerlies are occuring in its wake.
A second low pressure system will approach from the southwest on
Friday. Strong to gale force easterlies will develop over southern
waters ahead of the low on Friday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port and East Coast -
north of Cape St. Francis.
