of Greenland.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 989 mb located over southern
Ontario.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Thursday deepening low 981 mb located over
Anticosti Island.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Funk Island Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Thursday departing ridge located east of Funk
Island Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:54 PM NST 10 December 2025 An intense low pressure system southeast of Greenland will depart
this evening. Strong to gale force west to northwesterlies will
diminish in the low's wake this evening.

A second low pressure system will approach the district from the west
tonight and track into the Gulf of St. Lawrence on Thursday. Strong
to gale force northeasterlies will develop north of the low, and
strong to gale force southwesterlies will develop to its south and
east.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port - northwestern half, East Coast -
Cape St. Francis and south, Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and
the Grand Banks.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Belle Isle Bank.
