Issued 2:51 AM NDT 16 May 2026 A low pressure system over Banquereau will track northeastward acrossNewfoundland today to lie east of Belle Isle Bank by early Sunday
morning. Strong to gale force west to northwesterlies are expected to
develop in it's wake today and persist until Sunday afternoon.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, Funk Island Bank -
southeastern half, and the Grand Banks.
