Issued 8:00 PM NDT 5 July 2020 Tonight and Monday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight low 1011 mb located over the southeastern
Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday departing low 1013 mb located southeast
of the Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday tropical depression Five 1011 mb located
south of Laurentian Fan.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Monday departing tropical depression Five 1009
mb located southeast of the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:44 PM NDT 5 July 2020 At 5:30 P.M. NDT, tropical depression five was located near
Latitude 35.8 north and longitude 60.5 west. Maximum sustained winds
were 30 knots and the central pressure was 1009 MB. The motion was
northeast at 23 knots. This system may strengthen to a marginal
tropical storm but is still expected to have minimal impact on
Canadian waters as it passes to the south of the district on Monday.
Extreme southern areas of the Grand Banks may briefly see winds up to
25 or 30 knots on Monday as it passes.
