Greenland.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located over Ontario.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Sunday ridge located over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

At 10:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the southern Grand Banks.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Sunday departing trough located southeast of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:57 AM NDT 24 August 2019 A low pressure system east of Belle Isle Bank will continue to move
northeast of the district today. Strong to gale force north to
northwesterlies over northern waters will gradually diminish today
and tonight as the low moves away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, Northeast Coast - north of Cape
St. John, and Belle Isle Bank.
