Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 8:00 PM NST 12 January 2025 Tonight and Monday At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing low 974 mb located northeast
of Belle Isle Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. NST tonight low 966 mb located south of the Grand
Banks.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Monday low 972 mb located east of the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:52 PM NST 12 January 2025 A low pressure system northeast of Belle Isle Bank will move off to
the east tonight. Gale force north to northwesterlies over northern
waters will gradually diminish tonight as the low moves away and
weakens.

A second low south of the Grand Banks will continue to produce gale
force northeasterlies over the Southern Grand Banks tonight.
Winds will shift to strong to gale force northwesterlies over
southern and eastern waters on Monday as the low moves to lie east of
the Grand Banks.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Belle Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and the Grand Banks.
