By 3:00 a.m. NDT Saturday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:52 AM NDT 16 May 2025 A low pressure system east of Belle Isle Bank will remain nearly
stationary today and tonight before slowly pulling away to the east
on Saturday. Strong to gale force northwesterlies over northern
waters will diminish on Saturday as the low moves away.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank and Funk Island Bank.
