Issued 3:30 PM NDT 3 October 2024 Tonight and Friday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 992 mb located east of Funk Island Bank.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Friday departing low 994 mb located east of the
Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located from Greenland to Cabot Strait.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Friday ridge located on a line north-south over
eastern Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:16 PM NDT 3 October 2024 A low pressure system east of Funk Island Bank will continue to
slowly drift eastward. Strong to gale force northwesterlies over
eastern waters will diminish to strong tonight as the low moves away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks.
