Nova Scotia.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Grand Banks.
At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight trough located over southern Ontario.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Sunday trough located on a line north-south over
the Gaspe Peninsula.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:29 PM NDT 9 May 2026 A trough of low pressure over Eastern Belle Isle Bank will move tolie east of the marine district this evening. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies in the wake of the trough will diminish this evening
as the trough departs.
Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Belle Isle Bank.
