By 3:30 p.m. NST Tuesday trough located on a line east-west over
northern Belle Isle Bank.
At 3:30 p.m. NST today dissipating trough located over southeastern
Labrador.
At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located east of the Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. NST tonight departing ridge located east of the
Grand Banks.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:29 PM NST 9 December 2019 A trough of low pressure over Southeastern Labrador will dissipatethis evening. Strong to gale force southwesterlies will weaken
tonight.
A second trough of low pressure will approach from the west and move
over Gulf waters early Tuesday. Gale to storm force south to
southwesterlies will develop south of the trough.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Gulf - Port au Port, Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, Belle
Isle Bank, Funk Island Bank, and Northern Grand Banks. Gale warnings
are in effect for all remaining waters.
