Issued 10:00 AM NST 24 November 2020 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. NST today intensifying low 981 mb located over the
Quebec Lower North Shore.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Wednesday low 953 mb located southwest of
Greenland.

At 3:00 a.m. NST Wednesday high located over Maine.
By 8:00 p.m. NST Wednesday high located over Banquereau.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:46 AM NST 24 November 2020 An intense low pressure system over the Quebec Lower North Shore will
track across Southeastern Labrador today to lie over the East
Labrador Sea Wednesday morning. Gale to storm force south to
southeasterlies will shift to gale to storm force southwesterlies,
then gale to hurricane force northwesterlies tonight. Winds will
gradually diminish on Wednesday as the low departs to the southeast
of Greenland and a ridge of high pressure approaches from the west.

Marine interests are advised that a hurricane force wind warning is
in effect for Belle Isle Bank. Storm warnings are in effect for all
remaining waters except Gulf - Port au Port and Southwest Coast where
gale warnings are in effect.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, Northeast Coast, and
Belle Isle Bank.
