Issued 3:30 PM NST 5 December 2019 Tonight and Friday At 3:30 p.m. NST today deepening low 986 mb located north of theAvalon Peninsula.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Friday low 976 mb located southeast of Greenland.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Friday quasi-stationary trough from low located
from Belle Isle Bank to the Quebec Lower North Shore.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:11 PM NST 5 December 2019 A low pressure system will track rapidly northeastward across theFunk Island Bank this evening and will lie southeast of Greenland by
Friday afternoon. Gale force southerlies to the east of the low will
become strong to gale force west to southwesterlies in its wake.
Winds will then quickly diminish as the low pulls away.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast, Funk Island Bank, the Southeastern Grand
Banks and the Northern Grand Banks.
