Issued 3:30 PM NDT 30 April 2025 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. NDT today low 991 mb located north of Anticosti Island.
By 3:30 p.m. NDT Thursday low 994 mb located over northeastern
Newfoundland.

At 3:30 p.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over the southern Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight departing ridge located southeast of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:22 PM NDT 30 April 2025 A low pressure system north of Anticosti Island will continue to
track eastward to lie over Northeastern Newfoundland Thursday
afternoon. Strong to gale force west to northwesterly winds will
develop in the wake of the low tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half, Gulf - Port au Port, Southwest
Coast, South Coast, Northeast Coast, and Southwestern Grand Banks.
