Issued 10:00 AM NST 10 February 2025 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. NST today intensifying low 968 mb located over thenorthern Grand Banks.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Tuesday low 959 mb located east of Belle Isle
Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:59 AM NST 10 February 2025 An intensifying low pressure system over the Northern Grand Bankswill move northward to lie East Belle Isle Bank by Tuesday morning.
Gale to hurricane force west to northwesterlies behind the low will
diminish to strong to gale force by Tuesday afternoon.
Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for Funk Island Bank, Northern Grand Banks, and
Southeastern Grand Banks. Storm warnings are in effect for East Coast
- north of Cape St. Francis, and Belle Isle Bank. Gale warnings are
in effect for all remaining waters except Strait of Belle Isle -
western half and Gulf waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Southeastern Grand Banks.
