Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:43 PM NDT 23 April 2024 A low pressure system over the Northwest Labrador Sea will weakeninto a trough over the Labrador Sea tonight. Strong to gale force
southwesterly winds over western waters will diminish tonight as the
system weakens.
A second low will approach from the south on Wednesday. Strong to
gale force southerlies will develop Wednesday late in the day ahead
of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Gulf waters, and Southwestern Grand Banks.
