Marine Weather Statement
Issued 8:09 PM NST 6 December 2024 A low pressure system off the Mid Labrador Coast will track northwardto lie just north of the Labrador Sea by Saturday evening. Gale to
storm force south to southwesterlies will diminish to strong to gale
force tonight in the wake of the low.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Strait of Belle Isle, Belle Isle Bank, and Southeastern Grand Banks.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except Northern
Grand Banks and Southwestern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle and Gulf waters.
