south of Laurentian Fan.
At 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday approaching ridge located west of the
Marine District.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:46 PM ADT 13 April 2021 A low pressure system over Laurentian Fan will move to lie south ofLaurentian Fan tonight where it will remain quasi-stationary on
Wednesday. Strong to gale force north to northeast winds north and
west of the low will prevail across much of the district. Winds will
gradually diminish over western and northern waters on Wednesday as a
ridge of high pressure approaches.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore - eastern half, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan - western half, Cabot Strait, and
Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half.
