By 9:30 p.m. NDT Wednesday departing low 998 mb located northeast
of Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday building ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Quebec.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Thursday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:18 PM NDT 29 April 2025 A low pressure system north of the Labrador Sea will move to lienortheast of the district on Wednesday. Strong to gale force
southerlies ahead of the low will shift to strong to gale force
northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and Northwest Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Northwest Labrador Sea.
