Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:45 PM AST 24 November 2020 An intense low pressure system northeast of the marine district will
move farther away tonight and Wednesday as a ridge of high pressure
approaches. Gale force northwesterlies over much of the district will
diminish tonight as the low moves farther away and the ridge
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Grand Manan, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait, Gulf
- Magdalen, Chaleur - Miscou - eastern half and Anticosti. A freezing
spray warning is in effect for Anticosti.
